St.Gallen, Switzerland - 15th of January 2010
umantis is including the entire team in the process of defining objectives for 2010. To this end, there will be a two-day workshop in which all staff members will be able to help set the goals for 2010. The aim of this strategic workshop is to synchronise the focus of all staff members in order to work out cross-departmental objectives, design new processes as well as we can, and optimise the structure within the team. In preparation, the management wishes to put these questions to staff:
1) What is my role? What ought it to be?
2) What am I contributing to the company?
3) What is preventing me from performing my role well?
4) What is the quality of my role? What am I measuring it against?
5) What do I have to learn?
6) What can I teach?
7) What goals should we achieve with umantis in 2010?
8) How can I contribute towards these objectives?
During 2010, the company’s 10th anniversary, the main aim should be to strengthen the company’s base, and to decide and prepare the way forward. Objective for 2015: to be the market leader in DACHL.
In this context, CEO Hermann Arnold offers this adage:
«It’s not important to do a huge amount.
Neither is it important to do a lot right.
It’s far more important to do what’s right.»
