Connecting employees: umantis broadens talent and performance management

St. Gallen, September 7 2011

Networking module to be presented at the «Zukunft Personal» in Cologne

Social networks such as Facebook or Xing are well-known and widely-used. The idea of using this kind of communication for companies isn’t new. Just, until now it has only very seldom been realised. When considering the implementation of an own social network, companies are confronted with many open questions: starting with the true use of such a network for the company. For many, social networks are just an amusement or even a waste of time.

Hermann Arnold, CEO and Co-founder of umantis AG, answers back: «An internal social network has potential for an opening towards the company’s inside and can have a positive influence on the company culture. The road to success in talent management is based on the employees’ trust and the conviction that they want to, can and are allowed to accomplish their contribution. For companies with such a credo, social networks can strongly contribute to a successfull talent management».

Based on this conviction, the umantis AG, longtime pioneer for internet-based software, has broadened its talent and performance management portfolio. The new networking module will be presented worldwide for the first time at the Zukunft Personal 2011 in Cologne from September 20th to 22nd.
