Barriers and opportunities of Human Resources Management 2.0

The Internet, as well as other information and communication technologies have changed many areas of business and private life, and continue to do so today.  For the young generation these changes are taken for granted.  As a result, in particular younger employees cannot understand why the advantages of these  technologies are not used throughout all business practices.  For the generation of managers and HR professionals that have grown up without the Internet, these changes pose a considerable challenge.

The HR-Bestseller «Integriertes Personal-Management» by Prof. Martin Hilb has recently been published in its 20th edition and is regarded highly by HR professionals for its pragmatic approaches.  The current edition has been enhanced with a chapter by Hermann Arnold on «Mobile Human Resources Management», which highlights the effect of the Internet on Human Resources Management.
