Applicant data is used directly out of social networks
More and more jobseekers use social networks as the basis for their job search. In addition, employees already in stable jobs are sure to keep the data in their social network profiles up to date at all times. A good example of proactive profile updates are Microsoft employees who announced on their public «LinkedIn» profiles that they were now part of a newly developed department working on the next generation Xbox platform, which had not yet been announced officially. These profile updates caused quite a stir in the tech blogs around the world.
The umantis software modules are built on experience gained from the Internet and are designed for easy, intuitive use by the user (recruiters, managers and applicants). In order to keep the application process as simple as possible, the applicant should only have to answer the really important questions relevant to the position in question. If the applicants data in his/her social network is updated regularly, he/she should have the possibility to use this data in the application process. With the latest release of the umantis E-Recruiting software the applicant can import his/her profile data directly from «LinkedIn» at the click of a mouse. «LinkedIn has developed into the leading recruiting network worldwide, which is why chose to integrate this platform first», commented Romeo Arpagaus, Leading Head of Research & Development at umantis.
