Umantis and LinkedIn Strategic Partnership: Better Recruiting Experience for Talent and Our Clients

Umantis has entered into a new strategic partnership with LinkedIn Talent Solutions. The strategic partnership makes it possible for talents to apply for jobs based on their existing LinkedIn profile, among other things. It also makes it easier for recruiters to synchronize data between LinkedIn Recruiter and Umantis' Applicant Management software. This is done by integrating the latest version of the "Apply with LinkedIn" plug-in as well as the integration of "LinkedIn Recruiter System Connect" into the Umantis Talent Management solution.

What is LinkedIn Recruiter?

The LinkedIn Recruiter is a valuable tool for active sourcing. It is becoming increasingly important in the search for talent. Until now, however, recruiters have spent a lot of time transferring data from LinkedIn Recruiter to their Applicant Management - or vice versa. This is now changing for Umantis Talent Management users. The "Recruiter System Connect" interface, for example, automatically synchronizes information about the job, candidate, application, status and assessment between Umantis Applicant Management and LinkedIn Recruiter. This saves valuable time and recruiters enjoy a whole new level of data quality.

"Recruiters no longer have to switch back and forth between two systems to see all the latest information about candidates. This makes their work easier and saves valuable time," says Juliane Bürkle, Chief Product Officer for Umantis Talent Management.

"LinkedIn Recruiter System Connect" combines knowledge from two systems

The "Recruiter System Connect" integration allows the best possible use of information. Recruiters send the data from LinkedIn Recruiter to their Umantis Applicant Management with one click and link it to an open position. This gives them a much more comprehensive picture of potential candidates before they contact them.

The combination of Umantis Applicant Management and LinkedIn Recruiter:

  • always provides up-to-date candidate information.
  • improves collaboration in the Talent Acquisition team.
  • saves valuable time – an average of 30 minutes per recruiter per day.
  • significantly simplifies the hiring process, especially active sourcing.

In the future, further links between LinkedIn Services and Umantis Talent Management are planned. This significantly improves the candidate experience and simplifies recruiting at the same time.

More applications via LinkedIn thanks to "Apply with LinkedIn"

Thanks to the integration, interested parties and potential candidates can apply to the potential employer immediately with their personal LinkedIn profile in a time-saving manner and without much effort. The advantage: The transmitted profile data is automatically transferred to the Umantis applicant management system. Customers of Umantis and LinkedIn Talent Solutions thus have immediate access to all applications received and profile data.

"Our goal is to make the application process as easy and fast as possible for both sides – candidates and employers," Juliane Bürkle continues. Another advantage: Umantis Talent Management customers who opt for the "Apply with LinkedIn" plug-in receive an overview of candidates who have not completed the application process, but may still be interested in the job offer. You can stay in touch with these prospects via LinkedIn and win them over to your company at a later date.

Integration of further solutions planned

"The integration of Apply with LinkedIn and LinkedIn Recruiter System Connect were just the first steps in our strategic partnership with LinkedIn and the expansion of our portfolio of solutions for successful recruitment," said Jens Bender, who is responsible for building the next generation of integrated recruitment software at Umantis. "We are convinced that the simplest and most user-friendly solutions possible will make the difference in the competition for scarce talent target groups, especially in personnel recruitment. As a result, we are working on expanding the integration with LinkedIn on the one hand, but also expanding to other solutions along the entire talent lifecycle on the other."

Soon, other LinkedIn services will be integrated into the Umantis solution. Among other things, integrations such as "Easy Apply" are planned, which will make it even easier for candidates and employers to share and communicate in an integrated way via LinkedIn and Umantis Talent Management.
